Based in GRACosway’s Sydney office, Caroline is a skilled corporate communicator and problem-solver with experience advising leading Australian corporations.

At GRACosway, Caroline has specialised in issues management, strategic media engagement and large-scale transaction support, with particular focus on retail, property and tourism sectors. She has worked closely with clients like Knight Frank Australia, Macquarie and Tourism Australia on developing and managing their corporate reputations.

Caroline Stanley joined GRACosway as a Senior Consultant from the Virgin Australia Group, where she was responsible for managing media and brand reputation across a wide range of issues. At Virgin, Caroline’s role extended across the corporate, consumer and operational facets of the Group businesses and she was responsible for both internal and external communications. Caroline is particularly skilled in issues management and is highly regarded for her approach to solving problems relating to corporate and customer-facing issues.

Prior to her role at Virgin, Caroline worked at Clemenger BBDO where she gained detailed insights into brand strategy and the strategic challenges faced by national corporations.

Caroline has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons)(LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology/Journalism) from Bond University.

Grace is based in GRACosway’s Melbourne office and provides corporate and financial communications support for a variety of clients.

Prior to joining GRACosway, Grace worked at public relations agency FleishmanHillard, managing corporate communications for clients including Western Union, Carnival Australia and AT&T. Grace also worked at public relations agency Liquid Ideas, with clients spanning the lifestyle, hospitality and FMCG sectors including Kellogg’s Australia and Unilever.

Grace holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies (International Relations) from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney.

Liam_Nilon

Liam Nilon

Senior Consultant

Liam is based in Sydney and provides research and policy support on NSW and federal matters for clients across a range of industries, with a particular interest in financial services. He drives the production of the firm’s weekly Financial Services Digest.

Liam is responsible for leading the firm’s policy research function and provides complex policy analysis and insight to clients, with a particular focus on health, gaming, resources and financial services. Liam also works with clients who are preparing to appear before parliamentary and other public inquiries.

Prior to joining the firm, Liam was a research assistant in the office of the Mayor of the City of Botany Bay. He has also worked for the NSW Transport Minister, NSW Opposition Leader and as an electorate officer for a NSW State MP.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Arts (Ancient and Modern History) from Macquarie University.

Nick Howe

Senior Consultant

Based in GRACosway’s Sydney office, Nick provides corporate and financial communications support for a variety of clients, particularly in the health, technology, finance, and government sectors.

Prior to joining GRACosway, Nick served in the office of the Shadow Minister for Communications, before joining the Clemenger Group in 2015 through the Clemenger Graduate Program. Joining fellow Clemenger Group public relations company Porter Novelli, he strengthened his skills in stakeholder engagement, issues management and insight-led media campaigns that drive public interest.

Through his career, Nick has supported clients to increase their positive media recognition and navigate a way through issues affecting their reputation. He has also assisted on a number of Federal Government initiatives supporting Australia’s priority growth sectors.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science from The University of Sydney.

Alyssa Patterson

Alyssa is based in GRACosway’s Sydney office and provides research and policy support on Federal and NSW Government matters across a range of industries, including resources, health, digital technology, gaming and infrastructure.

Additionally, she is jointly responsible for overseeing operational compliance procedures and processes across the business.

Prior to joining GRACosway, Alyssa worked in a public affairs role for an industry association where she gained experience in research and issues management.

Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Science and a Masters in Law and International Development from the University of Sydney.

She has worked across a range of industries including infrastructure, manufacturing, professional services, computer software and commercial landscaping.

Deanne is actively involved in providing investor relations support to GRACosway’s clients, including managing relationships with investors, brokers and analysts; liaising with CEO, Board and Co. Secretary; scheduling investor days and assisting at AGMs; distributing press announcements; and liaising with media.

Deanne holds a Diploma of Investor Relations and a Certificate of Accounting.

Prior to joining GRACosway, Hilary completed a State Government Traineeship where she worked within the electorate office of a South Australian Member of Parliament. She has also worked in communications, fundraising and policy research for a major animal welfare charity.

Hilary holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Media from the University of Adelaide, as well as a Certificate III in both Government and Business from TAFE SA.

Rebecca Copeland

Associate – Communications and Marketing

Rebecca is based in GRACosway’s Adelaide office and provides communications and marketing support to colleagues across the firm, including proposal and presentation development.

Prior to joining GRACosway, Rebecca worked at a major national television network and produced content for a variety of online publications. She also completed internships at commercial news stations in Adelaide, developing a wide network and healthy collection of writing and communications skills. Rebecca won the 2019 UniSA Student Journalism Award at the SA Press Club Awards.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Journalism from the University of South Australia, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
