GRACosway Pty Ltd has recorded another strong half with MergerMarket recognising the firm as one of Australia’s leading financial communications advisors. In the first half of calendar year 2024, the firm recorded a total of US$11.1/A$17.1 billion of confirmed M&A deals across the Asia Pacific region, including Japan, and the US.
Global/cross-border deals involving the firm included advising Altium on its US$5.9/A$9.1 billion takeover by Renesas (Japan/USA); Alumina on its US$3.1/A$4.75 billion takeover by Alcoa; and J-Power (Japan) on its US$656 million/A$1.01 billion takeover of Australia’s Genex Power.
The strength of cross-border M&A has been a notable feature in the first half of the year, driving strong client demand for support from the firm’s integrated strategic communications and public affairs teams.
