Joanna Ball

Jo has more than 25 years’ corporate affairs experience across banking, superannuation, payments, private wealth, professional services and media. Jo has held senior leadership positions in the Corporate Affairs team at the National Australia Bank (NAB), working as a trusted advisor to the CEO and group executives on significant reputational issues, including the Royal Commission into the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, federal parliamentary inquiries, COVID economic response, litigation, customer remediation and risk and regulatory issues.
Most recently, Jo worked in a global senior executive role at an ASX listed payments company, with operations in Australia, the UK, Europe and the US. This gave her invaluable experience in dealing with shareholder activists and a Board takeover orchestrated by a US hedge fund.
