Brigid Glanville is a senior communications strategist and public relations adviser with more than 25 years’ experience across media, government, politics and stakeholder engagement. As a Partner at GRACosway, she leads the firm’s Strategic Government Communications practice, advising Federal, NSW and Victorian Government departments and agencies across health, education, infrastructure and social policy.

She specialises in strategic government communications, corporate communications and media relations, and crisis communications and reputation protection, providing counsel and training to senior executives and departmental leaders. Brigid also supports media, presentation and stakeholder engagement training, helping clients navigate complex issues and high-stakes environments with clarity and confidence. Her leadership skills and ability to remain calm under pressure were demonstrated in senior government roles during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she managed multi-channel campaigns to deliver emergency health and education messaging. She also authored the NSW Government’s 2021 Mental Health Response during lockdown, advising Ministers on communications, risk and policy.

Before joining GRACosway, Brigid served as Deputy Chief of Staff to NSW Ministers for Regional Health, Mental Health, Women and Education. In these roles she worked with political, sector and community stakeholders to deliver reforms, and oversaw policy development and communications strategies.

Earlier in her career, Brigid spent more than a decade with the ABC, including ten years as Chief NSW Political Editor. She reported on major state and federal political issues, presented nationally, and covered international crises such as the Christchurch earthquakes and Pike River Mine disaster. She also anchored NSW election night broadcasts and presented on the ABC News Channel.

Brigid supports CEOs, Boards and senior officials to sharpen message clarity, strengthen executive presence and prepare for high-stakes public and parliamentary scrutiny. Her facilitation work draws on her deep understanding of political processes, media framing and reputational risk.

She is a Director on the Board of Odyssey House NSW and a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Gidget Foundation Australia, contributing her expertise in governance, advocacy and community health. Brigid holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from Charles Sturt University.
